I’ve been second shooting since 2012. Trained by Cassi Claire, I have shot well over 100 weddings for Cassi Claire Photography. So why hire me to second shoot at YOUR wedding? Here’s a small sampling of what I bring to the table:
No self-promotion. I don’t care about starting my own photography business, so you never need to worry about me handing out my own business cards, pulling the couple aside for my own portraits, or wandering off to build my portfolio. I also have no interest in blogging or sharing the images, except for maybe adding a few of the best to my second shooting galleries right here!
I put grooms at ease. Most grooms are more comfortable with a guy all up in their business in the morning while they’re drinking with the groomsmen and getting changed. I also have extensive knowledge of man hobbies and can talk shop about nearly any job in existence, so I’m a professional rapport-builder and groom-putter-at-ease-er.
I create space for you during reception dancing. My favorite part of the day is by far the reception, and I’ve built quite a talent for capturing dance floor photos. I feel like I’m on safari, hunting for perfect laughs and epic moments. I’m also super tall, so I can get unobstructed shots of chair lifts, dance circles, and limbo sessions. Do you want to offer same-day slideshows but struggle to find the time? Let me handle all the reception photos while you park in a corner to get it done!
Long story short, I just love shooting and I want to do as much of it as possible. I have my own car, am located in Central NJ, I have a full set of Canon gear listed below, and I can do off-camera flash or video-light setups (though if you let me, I WILL talk your ear off about how much better video lights are!).
